At Shake A Leg Petcare, we know when you go away on a trip, you want assurance that your furry family members are safe and happy.  And just like people, every dog has a different personality. Some dogs love playing with their doggie pals and some would rather just hang out on their own. Dogs can be outgoing, shy, nervous, exciteable, and many other things in between! This is why we offer three types of overnight care to suit your dog's personal needs. Whether your dog is sociable and playful, or a little shy and easily stressed, we can help make the overnight experience a great one for your dog!  

Live-in Overnight Care was the first service offered by Cara over five years ago, even before the official inception of Shake A Leg Petcare, and it has been growing in popularity ever since. This type of overnight care is done by one of our knowledable and friendly staff, who will come and stay in your home with your dog while you are away.  Live-In Overnight Care is perfect for those who have animals with special needs, pets who are not sociable,  are older, or just someone who wants their pets to have all the comforts they normally have.

Live-In Overnight Care holds many benefits for you as well as your pets:

Your pets are able to maintain their regular daily/nightly routines

Your pets are able to stay in a familiar and comfortable environment which can help ease separation anxiety

Your pets receive more individual attention than most alternative forms of overnight care such as kennels.

Live-In Overnight Care not only guarentees that your pet is getting the best care possible while you are gone, but your home is also being monitored. Someone staying in your home with your pet allows your mail to be brought in, and plants to be watered.

Current Rates (all rates shown are subject to applicable taxes)

Live-in Overnight Care: $50.00 per night

Additional dog in same household: $5.31 per dog/per night

A small travel charge may apply for clients who reside outside our typical service areas of Markham and Stouffville. If the price needs to be altered for any reason, it will always be discussed with the client before they commit to booking with us.
